Birds Perched upon the bridge of Château de Chenonceau
When I am overcome with stress or grief it is easy to feel alone and to be blinded by my own emotions. So please don't be blinded by your emotions or your trials, take a look down the ledge and see there is a long line of friendly faces who are out there with you and willing to follow you through it all. Be aware that you are in fact on the ledge of something beautiful. I mean how cool would it be to be on the roof of a castle. Yeah I thought so. And for all of the people who don't get out there on the ledge to help you, we can send the pigeon bombers after them.

What a great metaphoric post, Amber!
That is excellent. Both takes. I tend to be a "holy crap" kind of reactor, but today I'll challenge myself to see it in the "you're not alone" view. Good post!
We had a major pigeon problem a few years back and let me tell you, there is nothing holy about crap. :) But I do like your metaphor so thanks for the boost today.
That's a very unique metaphor. I like it but it's hard for me to remember it.
Very nice post! It is always nice to know we aren't alone, isn't it?
Kristina - Thanks it always makes me happy to see your snuggie in my comments
Becca- I understand the tendancy to react that way first.
Kasie - LOL... oh wait that probably wasn't funny, but i'm sure you can laugh now ... right??
LT - It is hard to remember. We will just have to remind each other.
LazyWriter - While I do a lot of t hings on my own for the most part it is nice to have someone there. Even if they are just doing their thing while I do mine.
Yes, there are friendly faces all around us. Thanks for the reminder!!
LOL! This post reminded me of a hallmark card that I loved so much I bought every one at the store a few years back. They've all been sent out. It read:
"When life hands you a load of lemons, make lemonade.
But when life hands you a load of crap, don't make anything at all. Trust me on this one."
Heheheh! thanks for the awesome post! Jenni
